Our dedicated and professional functions team will manage your event personally from the very first enquiry to the very last drink. Glamorous cocktail parties, corporate functions, Christmas parties, birthdays, product launches, awards nights, bucks parties, events with a difference… whatever the occasion, Shamiana can tailor an event to your needs.

AREAS

We have three intimate areas for you to choose from. The areas on offer are as follows:

The Restaurant
Suitable for up to 250 guests standing or 120 guests seated 

The Restaurant offers a sumptuous daily set menu and is the perfect place to wine and dine clients. The restaurant can be hired exclusively with set menus and beverage packages to suit your needs.

The Private Dining Room
Suitable for up to 50 guests standing or 25 guests seated

The Private Dining Room is the ideal space for a long lazy lunch or your next corporate sales meeting.

The Lounge Bar
Suitable for up to 60 guests standing or 30 guests seated

The Lounge Bar is the idyllic place for a quiet drink with friends or colleagues. Our beverage selection is extensive, offering premium spirits, liqueurs, imported beers and an excellent wine list. Relax in plush couches and sip on exotic cocktails.

FUNCTION PACKAGES

Bar tab facilities
Putting an amount of money behind the bar is easy. But what would you like to spend it on? Wine, beer and soft drinks? Add in spirits? Cocktails on arrival? Whichever way you go, think about your budget, the amount of people coming and what you’d like to provide for them, and we’ll put together a package.

All inclusive beverage packages
It is sometimes better value to purchase an all inclusive drinks package – per person. Beverage packages have been designed to save your time, money and worry! All the work has been done for you – you just need to decide on which package best suits you and your guests. Beverage packages can be purchased for a drinks only event, or as an addition to a sit down meal or canapé function.

Beverage Package One – Basic Beverage Package
- House sparkling with fresh strawberries
- House white – Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc
- House red – Oyster Bay Merlot
- Blue Tongue beer (on tap)
- Cascade Premium light
- All soft drinks from the soda gun
- All fruit juices and mineral water

Beverage Package Two – Premium Beverage Package  
Entire basic package as above plus house spirits and mixers including:
- Jim Beam bourbon
- Eristoff vodka
- Gordon’s gin
- Johnnie Walker Red scotch
- Bacardi white rum

Food Service
Food selection is just as important as the drinks you choose. Here at Shamiana our chefs use only the freshest seasonal produce, providing each and every function with a superb choice of delicious food.
Once you have let us know your function particulars, our function team will design a menu that best fits your needs – and budget! We have three options for you to choose from:
- One, two or three course set menu
- Canapé selection
- Snack packs

One, two or three course set menu
A sit down meal with a range of delicious choices. We offer three delicious entrees and three mains, followed by a choice of two of our mouth-watering desserts - for a set price per guest.
Set menus can be created to fulfill special requirements.

Canapé selection
A sit down dinner doesn’t suit your function or event? No problem! We have an appetising selection of canapés for you to choose from.

Snack packs
No time for food service? Or food is simply not on your agenda? We can offer a Shamiana snack pack. Bowls of crisps, nuts and crackers will give your guests something to nibble on if they so desire.

Staffing Your Event
Although Shamiana Restaurant and Bar is known as a lingerie restaurant, we understand not everyone requires an erotic twist to their event. Therefore we happily offer all functions with or without our lingerie waitresses. Our functions team will discuss your needs with you at the time of your enquiry.
