Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy:

Shamiana encourages all patrons to consume alcohol responsibly. The following principles apply at all times:

- Any person showing signs of intoxication will not be served further alcohol.
- If a Buck’s party arrives intoxicated Shamiana reserves the right to refuse service. In this case the full charges will apply and payment is the responsibility of the organiser/credit card holder.
- Shamiana does not serve double or triple shots of spirits, nor do we serve Jagermeister, Jager Bombs or any other ‘bomb’ style drinks.
- The following drinks are not served in beverage packages: straight shots of spirits, any product group not listed above, Red Bull or vodka Red Bull.
- Ordering multiple quantities is not permitted. One drink per person at a time.
- Management reserves the right to cease or slow down service at any time.

BUCK’S PARTIES WITH POKER

Shamiana holds regular poker events with our in-house dealers. If you wish to include poker as entertainment at your function we are happy to arrange tables at an additional charge of $35 per person. Each table seats ten guests. This charge covers usage of our tables, chips, cards and dealers. A discount may apply for groups larger than ten guests – speak to our functions team for details.

LINGERIE WAITRESSES

We allocate three of our gorgeous lingerie waitresses for the first twenty guests, and one for each additional twenty guests.
You may add extra waitresses at an additional cost of $100 per waitress. (Subject to availability).

ENTERTAINERS AND SHOWGIRLS

For a little extra excitement for your group, we are happy to recommend a showgirl to perform a twenty minute Burlesque style show for the Buck.
Whilst the show’s theme may be tailored to your group’s specific needs, we do not allow shows of a sexually explicit nature. For this reason we only allow performers from the girls we recommend – not outside performers who are not familiar with our venue’s entertainment guidelines.

AFTER THE BUCK’S PARTY

We can provide a list of nearby table top dancing venues for your group to continue the celebrations. If you require a guest list to these venues you will need to organise it personally. Unfortunately we have no affiliation with any venue and are unable to guarantee entry.

We are pleased to offer invitations both in an email format and as a hard copy for your added ease in organising your event. Speak to our functions team for more details.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Security
For all events with over thirty guests we enforce the use of security. There is a $200 charge payable by the organiser of the event to cover our costs of having security present. This is non-negotiable and non-refundable once final numbers have been confirmed.


Dress Code and Behaviour

For your own enjoyment and that of our other guests we expect our patrons to conduct themselves in a responsible and social manner.
Guests are expected to be of clean appearance and suitably attired. Neat casual dress is the minimum dress requirement for entry and to avoid embarrassment or inconvenience to guests, this dress code policy is outlined as follows:
Acceptable: Collared shirts, dress jeans, tailored shorts, corporate wear.
Not Acceptable: Tracksuit pants, old, ripped, dirty or torn jeans, sports shorts, beachwear, thongs, t-shirts, sleeveless tops, tank tops and singlets, caps or hats, hooded tops.
We do not allow costumes or fancy dress of any kind for the Buck or guests.

Cameras and Photography
The use of photographic equipment is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: digital cameras, video cameras and mobile phones. If you or your guests are found to be taking photos we will confiscate the photographic device and delete ALL items on it.

Deposits
A $200 deposit and a completed copy of our Group Booking Form is required to secure all bookings. Deposits may be paid via email/fax or over the phone using a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club are all accepted) or in person with cash or eftpos.

If your booking is for over thirty guests, your $200 deposit will be used to cover the security charge as outlined above. If your booking is for below thirty guests your $200 deposit will be deducted from your total bill on the night.

Please be aware that popular timeslots book out quickly, sometimes weeks in advance. If you contact us and only make enquiries about available dates and times, this will not guarantee you get that time. You must pay a deposit for your booking to be secured.

Cancellations and Refunds

More than 7 days notice given: You can have a refund or transfer (to an available time) of your deposit excluding a $100 cancellation fee.
Less than 7 days notice given: No refund or transfer of deposit.

Confirmation of Numbers

We understand things can change at the last minute, however for staffing and catering purposes we require final numbers to be confirmed no later than 12:00pm on the Wednesday prior to your event.
If you confirm for less than thirty guests and we have determined your event will not require the use of security we are unable to make additions to the number of guests attending, unless we are able to organise security at late notice and you agree to pay the $200 security fee.

If we are unable to reach you to confirm your booking by the cut-off time of 12:00pm on the Wednesday prior to your event we reserve the right to cancel your booking and allocate your area to another group. In the event of this happening your $200 deposit will be forfeited.

Closing Times

Shamiana Restaurant closes at 9:30pm sharp on a Friday night and 9:00pm sharp on a Saturday night. If your group arrives later than your beverage package start time, beverage service will not be extended, nor will any discount be negotiated.
All groups are required to depart by 9:45pm at the latest on a Friday and 9:15pm at the latest on a Saturday.
